Every minute you spend with the wrong people takes away the time you have to spend with the right ones. What kind do you receive from unproductive people? What happens when you discuss your problems with someone capable of contributing to the solution? What happen when you follow someone who is not going anywhere?
Where do you end up when you ask directions from someone who is lost? These are sensitive and destiny questions. There are many roads in life that leads to nowhere. There are people that add nothing positive to your life. And whoever or whatever is not adding to you is not only constituting a burden, but also subtracting from you. When Abraham left Egypt, one wrong person that followed him was Lot. Lot was more of a distraction, and burden, that a friend. Were it not for God’s mercy and that Abraham wisely took the initiative to part ways with Lot, Abraham almost missed out on God programme for his life, he almost became God’s enemy. My question no is: who is that person accompanying you in the journey of your life that is not supposed to be there? Who are people around you that are not supposed to be there? It is better not to have friends that to have at the expense of your destiny. I am not saying having friends is bad. But wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.
When last did you do a thorough assessment of your friend? How many of them are really contributing positively to your life?
How many are really going in your direction? Some of your so-called friends are due for removal.
Are you going to let friends who are not growing bring you down? The choice is yours!
